Featuring live entertainment throughout the day, with Christmas activities and fun for all the family, and many market stalls selling festive treats in the Market Place. This year we will be marking Christmas at War Time, reflecting on the previous world wars and more recent conflicts.
There will be plenty of opportunities to buy gifts in the town's independent shops and businesses.
The ‘Christmas Countdown' is at 17.00, and the annual switching on of the Christmas tree lights will be followed by a spectacular firework display. A great way to finish what we know will be a very happy and enjoyable day!
