Selling a home in Warborough
Warborough is a small village in South Oxfordshire, sitting on the edge of the Thames Valley, together with the neighbouring hamlet of Shillingford on the River Thames.
The village is best known for its exceptionally large and attractive green, often cited as one of the finest in the country bordered by quiet lanes and lined with sycamore, lime, oak and horse chestnut trees. It's a genuinely well-used community space, home to a cricket pitch (Warborough & Shillingford Cricket Club), tennis courts, a children's play area and allotments, and it still hosts traditional touches such as Sunday car boot sales and hot air balloon launches in summer. The Six Bells, a thatched pub, sits right on the green's southwest corner.
