This detached period house has a great deal of charm and charater with good ceiling heights and with sympathetic modernisation has the potential for a delightful family home. The additional two storey outbuilding has immense scope as a studio or additional accommodation such as an annexe subject to any necessary permissions.
What it offers:
Approached from the side driveway through a pitched roof porch into the hall. The dining room to the front has a fireplace and large window to the front. To the rear is the sitting room with window to the side and attractive arched window to the rear, there is access to the cellar which has potential for further accommodation. The kitchen has wall and base cupboards, gas fired boiler, window to side and door into the conservatory. The conservatory has a tiled floor and double french doors overlooking the rear garden. Wallingford was originally a walled Saxon town on the Thames the remains of Wallingford's town walls can still be seen today. The remains of the Castle can also be seen from the Castle Gardens. Three primary schools and a highly regarded High School which is also a sports academy. Wallingford is within easy reach of both the M40 and the M4 and only 15 miles from Oxford. The town has two nursery's a primary and highly regarded secondary level schooling, and a full range of leisure facilities and sports groups.
